DALY TRAVEL NEWS – TSA PreCheck EXPANDS TO INCLUDE LUFTHANSA

Great news for Daly Travel clients! Lufthansa becomes the first European airline to offer TSA PreCheck privileges to eligible clients effective September 1, 2016. TSA Pre✓^® is an expedited screening program that enables trusted travelers to enjoy a smart and efficient screening experience at more than 180 U.S. airports. For TSA Pre✓^® travelers, there is no need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 compliant liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts. Enrollment in TSA Pre✓^® costs $85, an average cost of $17 per year.

Current carriers that participate in TSA Pre✓^®: Aeromexico, Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, Allegiant, American Airlines, Cape Air, Delta Air Lines, Etihad Airways, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Lufthansa, OneJet, Seaborne Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, United Airlines, Virgin America and WestJet. In July 2016, 97 percent of TSA Pre✓^® passengers experienced wait times of five minutes or less.

RELIEF AT 35,000 FEET – TRAVEL GEAR

Trying to quell the waves of nausea rolling through your body during a flight? Reliefband may just help. The watch-shaped, drug free wearable device treats nausea associated with morning and motion sickness. Clients will have access to experts in skiing, hiking, cycling and surfing, location specific. For example, a Hiking Concierge at Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort and Spa, Victor BC will help clients select trails to explore, accompany them on a hike and lead a yoga class at the summit of Mount Finlayson.
